Whether you’re thinking of buying a new 2013-model snowmobile or just want a chance to check out the latest and greatest machines hitting the trails next season, each of the manufacturers have set up sneak peek events that are open to the public. The tours started in late February and are currently making their way across the country.
Arctic Cat, Polaris and Yamaha have teamed up on their unveils, which will hit 22 locations across the U.S. from March 2 through April 9, 2012. In a series of separate events, Ski-Doo’s 2013 snowmobile models will be on display at 19 western and 18 eastern U.S. locations from February 27 to April 15, 2012. There is a separate tour for Canada.
At the Arctic Cat, Polaris and Yamaha events, the manufacturers will give snowmobilers a sneek peak at their new models for 2013, with each displaying about 15 to 18 sleds. That’s about 50 new snowmobiles for 2013 displayed on one show floor, all at the same time. Ski-Doo is expected to have a complete line of sleds, plus other assorted products from BRP – like Can-Am quads, UTVs and Spyder, plus Sea-Doo personal watercraft.
In either case, snowmobilers can see, touch, sit on and inspect the sleds that will be at their dealer in the fall, and decide whether they want to put some money down on a new model now in exchange for special spring packages, unique models and other incentive.
Check here for exact times and locations of the Snowmobile Sneak Peek tour and here for the Ski-Doo specifics, but here’s a list of dates and cities for the U.S. tours.
