Readers’ Photos Show What’s Hot, What’s Not In Snowmobiling

As this is being written, the summer heat is intense outside the Snow Goer office windows. Snow season seems far off… but then again, maybe it doesn’t? Every year as you age time moves a little bit faster. Soon summer will give way to fall, the days will get short and the nights will get cold. Next thing you know, Christmas is approaching and then… suddenly! … there’s beautiful snow being spread in your favorite riding area!

To get yourself in the mood for another season on the snow, go back through your phone or camera and look at some of the photos you captured on the trail or in the backcountry last winter. And, if you’ve got some good ones, send one or two to us and you might see you or your friends in an upcoming issue of the magazine.

Since its re-launch in 1990, each issue of Snow Goer magazine has included a What’s Hot/What’s Not section featuring images of snowmobile life captured and submitted by readers. The images below all printed in the October 2021 issue of Snow Goer. If you have snowmobiling photos you would like to share – whether you’d deem them “Hot” or “Not” – submit them to jprusak@snowgoer.com.

Please limit submissions to two photos, and include your name and hometown with the submission. Send the photo as an attachment, and note that low resolution images won’t reprint well in magazines — so only send us your best! Again, email them to jprusak@snowgoer.com.

Without further adieu, here’s What’s Hot and What’s Not – as submitted by snowmobilers like you!
