Nextech’s new rear suspension wheels are made from pure carbon fiber for a unique look and less weight. The urethane outer band provides more than a cool look. The Edmonton, Alberta-based company says its 8-inch wheel weighs 9.7 ounces and can withstand far more abuse than aluminum or plastic.
The ultra smooth design with glossy automotive clear-coat finish won’t corrode or hold snow and ice, which adds weight. All wheels include a new bearing and are ready to bolt in a skidframe.
Current sizes available are 5.125- and 5.5-inch diameter for $84; 6.375-inch for $97.50 and 7.5 and 8-inch wheels for $124. The company also makes carbon fiber A-arms for Ski-Doo REV-based machines.
