Rockford Freeman “Rocky” Cutsforth of Cohasset, Minn., died May 20 from injuries suffered in an ATV crash near Nemo, S.D. Cutsforth founded Rox Speed FX in 2000, a company that designs and manufactures snowmobile, ATV and motorcycle ergonomics accessories.
Cutsforth, 42, was airlifted to Rapid City Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Deputies said he lost control of the ATV while riding on the trail. Cutsforth was born in Minneapolis and moved to Grand Rapids, Minn., with his family in 1973.
Survivors include his wife, Lynn; children Colton and Makenzie; parents, David and Marlyce Cutsforth of Cohasset; two brothers, Rob (Marnie) and Dustin (Tamara) Cutsforth; two sisters, Rynetta (Mike) Carter and Melinda (Mark) Nye; and his maternal grandmother, Irene Hanson.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. on May 24 at the Assemblies of God Church in Grand Rapids, and from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service on May 25 at the church.
