If you haven’t found the CBS Sports Network on your cable or satellite package quite yet, here’s a reason to go home and do a little research: national snocross snowmobile races will be carried by the network this winter! The International Series of Champions (ISOC) has put out word that its entire national AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series will be carried on that network this coming season. Not live, mind you, but high-quality shows made from covering the events.

CBS Sports Network to Televise 2012-13 ISOC AMSOIL Championship Snocross Races
Series of 16 weekly half-hour shows debuts Sunday, Dec. 30th
The ISOC announced that all 16 rounds of the 2012-13 AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series will be featured on CBS Sports Network as part of the Network’s CBS Sports Spectacular programming.
“We can’t even begin to explain how monumental this deal is for the entire snowmobile industry,” said Carl Schubitzke, Director of Operations and Racing for ISOC. “CBS Sports Network is synonymous with excellence in terms of sports broadcasting and everyone at ISOC is pumped to be on board with such a professional organization, with a broadcast heritage that’s second-to-none in the industry.”
Beginning with the AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series season opening round in Duluth, Minn. (Nov. 25-27) and running through the season finale in Lake Geneva, Wis. (March 16-18), CBS Sports Network will broadcast 16 half-hour race shows – all in HD – on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. EST. The AMSOIL Championship Snocross – as an added bonus – will also air in an evening repeat of each show during the week.
Filmed and produced by the experienced Minnesota-based team at Long Haul Productions, viewers will thrill at the expanded use of GoPro HD POV camera, putting fans right onto the tops of the racers’ helmets as they battle for supremacy across the snowbelt states on the world’s premier professional snocross series tour.
CBS Sports Network’s coverage of the 2012-’13 AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series begins Sunday, Dec. 30th, at 10:30 a.m. EST.
