The ZR 7000 series is based on the familiar ProCross chassis, but it has a power option that’s new to Arctic Cat riders: a Yamaha three-cylinder four-stroke that puts out about 135 hp. ZR models are the bread and butter of Arctic Cat’s 2014 snowmobile lineup, and ones equipped with the LXR package are designed for all-day comfort with compliant suspension calibrations, excellent wind protection and storage. The new race master cylinder is a big upgrade for 2014 to deliver more stopping power.
