New 600RR E-TEC! 2027 Ski-Doo Makes Advancements in Product Line

Dubbed the 600RR, this new 130HP engine promises more power, quicker response, and a lower operating cost while bringing a smarter ride. As expected, Rotax added a few industry first features to the new powerplant.

The 20^th Anniversary X-RS is also a fun addition to the lineup, with some neat details including the evo stinger badge on the grill and steering pad as well as yellow springs and a number plate.

The New 600RR E-TEC

Rotax customer and full-on 600cc race engines have always shared a common platform – but this year they get even closer as the mass production engine gets pumped-up to 130hp, thanks to the boost injectors that add five horsepower on the top end and much quicker acceleration throughout the RPM range. Other changes include a new exhaust system and intake tract that support the performance gains and provide a signature sound that’s both powerful and respectfully pleasing. Riders looking for more of everything in a middle displacement 2-stroke powered snowmobile can get it this year – class-leading power output, improved acceleration, better fuel and oil economy plus cutting-edge technology that enhances the experience.

5 more horsepower at 8,250 RPM to reach 130hp and 20% faster throttle response
- Revised cylinder porting and higher RPM (+150RPM)
- Booster injectors from the 850 E-TEC Turbo R, 850 E-TEC and 600RS E-TEC enable faster RPM and power gains and a higher final output
- New ‘thin shaft with embedded bolts’ in throttle bodies increase intake flow

- New Intake tract with more surface area lets it breathe
- Revised muffler and tuned pipe are less restrictive while maintaining compliance
20% less oil use – Thanks to the NEW XPS E-TEC M.A.X oil and Rotax optimized pistons and cylinder – calibration is adjusted for cleaner burning and less oil use, saving on operating costs.

NEW Silent-Stop and Smart ECO modes bring benefits all riders will appreciate – not just the economy-minded ones
- Smart ECO Mode – This isn’t the ECO mode you’re used to seeing on other products – it’s a whole new dynamic created by performance riders to answer what they’d want in an ECO mode. You can keep up with the group and still use less fuel and oil. Smart Eco mode maximizes fuel/air ratios from the E-TEC and booster injectors, plus controls the RAVE system to deliver better economy. Increased power is available immediately on demand with the throttle, then returns to the optimal setting automatically.
  - 5% better fuel economy
  - 5% less emissions
- Silent-Stop lets riders communicate with each other easily when coming to a stop or simply listen to the environment around them. You can pull up to fellow riders at a stop, hold the brake lever, lean over to discuss the awesome trail just ridden, then release the brake and you’re on the way again. Simple. Effective.
  - Is automatically active in ECO mode and can be added in Sport mode.
  - In Sport mode, Silent-Stop is turned on and off through the gauge and stays that way until changed, use it only when you want.
  - Activated with the brake lever, when the vehicle is completely stopped, engine re-starts when brake is released.
