Big East Powersports Show In Syracuse Is Cancelled

Big East Powersports Show

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus and its resulting restrictions, the 27th annual Big East Powersports Show has been cancelled. It was scheduled for October 2-4, 2020, at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, New York.

The Big East Powersports Show is the largest snowmobile-focused indoor show in the Northeast – it typically attracts upwards of 16,000 powersports enthusiasts to the Syracuse area every fall for a weekend filled with up to 100 interesting exhibits, unrivaled gear shopping, trip planning, camaraderie among fellow riders and much more. It is produced by EPG Media & Specialty Information and, specifically, the staff of Snow Goer.

This year, show organizers at EPG Media & Specialty Information have been closely monitoring the evolving situation with the virus as well as local, state and federal rules on the gathering of people for indoor events, plus travel restrictions and quarantine rules.

“It’s not a decision we made lightly, but after viewing all of the facts and seeing the trends with both the virus and the regulations related to it, there is no reasonable path forward with a large-scale, in-person event like the annual Big East,” said John Prusak, Senior VP of EPG Media and editor of Snow Goer magazine, the nation’s largest snowmobile magazine.

We’re not going to let Big East weekend go by without doing something special, however: Stay tuned into this page for details on the Big East Powersports Show – Digital Edition!  And, mark your calendar for the Big East Powersports Show next year –  October 1-3, 2021!
