The BRP factory in Finland that predominantly builds Lynx snowmobiles hit a major milestone recently when it produced its 500,000th snowmobile.
The company also announced that the Lynx factory will build all of BRP’s electric snowmobiles going forward.
We used the word “predominantly” because a few Ski-Doo utility sleds have been built at the Lynx factory, but the vast, vast majority of machines that have come off of that assembly line have been Lynx branded.
Also tucked into the press release is this interesting little nugget: Between Lynx and Ski-Doo, BRP currently has more than 70 percent marketshare in Scandinavia and more than 80 percent in Finland!
