2027 Polaris RMK Factory Edition—Race Bred, Mountain Ready

The 2027 Polaris RMK Factory Edition stands as one of the most exciting mountain-ready sleds in Polaris’ lineup. It’s a machine born from competition and built for riders who want every bit of capability when venturing into technical backcountry terrain. Blending race-bred components with rider-focused performance enhancements, the RMK Factory Edition elevates Polaris’ deep-snow heritage with strength, precision, and a commanding presence on steep, variable snow.

Built on the lightest mountain platform available, the RMK Factory Edition pairs a featherweight chassis with aggressive transfer and exceptional traction for precise control and confidence-inspiring air time.

Available exclusively through Polaris’ SnowCheck early-order program, the RMK Factory Edition brings competition-proven capability from hill climb courses to real-world mountain riding.

You can order yours now through March 13, 2026.

Mountain DNA Meets Factory Upgrades

The RMK Factory Edition is built on Polaris’ proven Matryx RMK platform, combining lightweight agility with aggressive geometry for maximum lift and nimble control in deep snow. It carries a competition-inspired chassis that’s reinforced in all the right places to handle heavy impacts and hard riding conditions. Heavy-duty rails and a reinforced rear bumper are both approximately 40% stronger than standard RMK components.

Suspension on the Factory Edition comes from Walker Evans Racing Factory Edition shocks, engineered with a firmer valving and aggressive response that prioritize bottom-out resistance, stability through big hits, and controlled feedback over rough terrain. Whether you’re slashing across open slopes or threading tree lines, this suspension setup maintains composure at speed.

Power and Trail Command

At the heart of the Factory Edition are the engine options from Polaris’ Patriot family, including the potent Patriot 9R as well as the turbocharged Patriot Boost. Both engine choices are paired with Polaris’ QuickDrive2 drivetrain and liquid-cooling.

Two track options for the 155-inch length are offered with aggressive lug heights. The 275 Series 8 track is ideal for versatility and traction in varying snow conditions, or choose the 325 Series 9 track for instant traction and forward drive in deep snow.

Rider-Focused Features

Inside the cockpit, riders benefit from modern functionality such as the 7S Display powered by Polaris’ Ride Command system, which provides trail navigation, ride tracking, and diagnostics at a glance. Standard amenities like heated grips and thumb warmers help keep comfort levels high during long mountain days, while Matryx Pro-Lite seating and ProTaper handlebars are designed to keep the rider in sync with the sled’s aggressive performance.

Where It Fits in the Lineup

The 2027 Polaris RMK Factory Edition stands at the top of Polaris’ deep-snow lineup, positioned above models like the PRO RMK and RMK Khaos thanks to its reinforced build and advanced suspension setup. It’s designed for riders who demand durability, aggressive mountain capability, and competition-level performance in the backcountry.

Offered exclusively through SnowCheck, the Factory Edition gives riders a chance to own one of the most rugged and capable mountain sleds Polaris offers for the 2027 season.

You can order yours now through March 13, 2026.

  • Back in the early 80’s Polaris had a SKS model which stood for “Snow King Special”. Am willing to bet the RMK “Rocky Mountain King” replaced the SKS. Plus Polaris also offered a decked out chrome sled you could buy long before todays options.
