2027 Lynx Rave RE—Trail Dominance

The 2027 Lynx Rave returns as one of the most focused trail sport snowmobiles in the BRP family, blending Scandinavian racing heritage with modern performance engineering. Designed for riders who ride aggressively on the trails, the Rave pairs crisp Rotax 2-stroke powerplants with race-inspired suspension. Whether you’re hammering through moguls, pinning it out of corners, or chasing a friend across a frozen field, the Rave reflects Lynx’s racing background while remaining practical for everyday trail riding.

Engine & Performance

Performance is at the heart of the Rave’s appeal, and the 2027 model lineup reflects that with a selection of Rotax E-TEC engines designed to deliver exceptional throttle response and power delivery. Riders can choose from the 850 E-TEC Turbo R engine at the top of the range or the standard 850 E-TEC engine.

In addition to the 850 class, the Rave can be equipped with the new Rotax 600RR E-TEC. This mid-displacement setup gives riders a slightly lighter feel with quick revving characteristics.

All engines are paired with a pDrive clutch with Clickers and QRS Vent Plus secondary drive system to provide smooth engagement, efficient power transfer, and stable belt control across varied conditions.

Chassis & Suspension

The 2027 Lynx Rave is a trail sport sled rooted in racing pedigree. Built on a Radien² platform, the Rave’s design emphasizes rider engagement, balanced weight distribution, and dynamic handling. The Rave RE has adjustable suspension, premium shocks, and race-ready ergonomics. This isn’t a generic trail sled; it’s one tuned for spirited riders who want direct feedback and responsive behavior at speed.

At the back, the PPS³ rear suspension system offers excellent motion sensitivity and bottoming resistance, helping the sled soak up bumps, compressions, and trail irregularities while preserving energy for quick transitions. The forward suspension, typically an LFS-R front end, complements this with stable tracking and a wide stance that enhances cornering grip.

High-end KYB PRO 46 HLCR Kashima shock absorbers round out the package, giving riders extensive adjustability for high and low-speed compression and rebound damping settings. This adjustability allows customization for rider preference and terrain, ensuring the Rave can be dialed in for every rider.

Ergonomics & Features

On the ergonomics front, the Rave’s rider position promotes active engagement with a more forward, athletic stance encouraging precise weight shifts and quick reactions to trail conditions.

The Rave also offers modern tech, with the option to upgrade to a 10.25-inch touchscreen display that provides a modern interface for ride data, navigation, and connectivity features. Premium LED headlights improve night visibility, and heated grips and throttle components ensure comfort doesn’t fall by the wayside.

Other thoughtful touches such as adjustable ski positions, ergonomic seating, and optional spring-only technology packages help the Rave tailor its feel to rider preference and enhance everyday usability without diluting its sport focus.

Where it Fits in the Lineup

The 2027 Lynx lineup features a focused range built to cover the brand’s most popular riding categories, including three crossover models, a dedicated deep snow machine, and the Rave for high-performance trail riding.

For 2027, Lynx also celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the Rave, marking two decades of aggressive trail performance and race-inspired engineering. The special edition arrives with a unique tribute colorway and introduces the all-new Rotax 600RR E-TEC engine, delivering sharper throttle response and increased peak power compared to its predecessor.

Together, the commemorative styling and new engine package highlight how far the Rave has evolved since its debut—blending its racing heritage with modern technology to continue pushing the limits of trail performance.
