Throwback: Images From The 2005 Canterbury Snocross

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our snowmobiling lives!

Somehow, 20 years have slipped past since the 2005 Canterbury Snocross in Shakopee, Minnesota. When looking at the images from the race that we stumbled across this morning, in many ways it seems like only yesterday.

Enjoy this Throwback Thursday with us through the images below from that epic race. Some of these racers became household names, like Blair Morgan, TJ Gulla and Robbie Malinoski, for example. Others pictured below will provide fun mental throwbacks for hardcore fans (we thought of making them a mystery, but then we wouldn’t be able to properly label the photos).

All images copyright Snow Goer magazine. Please respect that and, if sharing on social media or wherever, do not crop out the “Snow Goer” logo that we’ve added to each image. We appreciate it.

Editor’s Note: Every Snow Goer issue includes in-depth sled reports and comparisons, aftermarket gear and accessories reviews, riding destination articles, do-it-yourself repair information, snowmobile technology and more. Subscribe to Snow Goer now to receive print and/or digital issues.
