This is the value version of the Expedition series of Ski-Doo touring/utility snowmobiles. The ACE 600 engine is rated at about 60 hp, so it’s capable to handle light-duty work and casual trail riding — solo or 2-up — and it’s fitted with a 420-watt magneto for more energy to power lights, tools and accessories. The e-Drive 2 drive clutch is a new feature for this model, and its designed to deliver smooth performance and long service life. Pilot DS 2 skis are another new feature for the 2014 Ski-Doo Expedition Sport 550 Fan to deliver better flotation in deep snow.
