Annual Classic Sled Roundup Kicks Off Summer At HOF
The first unofficial weekend of summer will once again be kicked off with a celebration of snowmobiling and the sport’s glorious past with the 21st Annual Classic Sled Round Up at St. Germain, Wisconsin.
Hosted annually by the competition-focused Snowmobile Hall Of Fame, with a big assist from local snowmobile clubs and sponsorship from Livingston Sales, the event features many aspects. It includes a top-notch vintage snowmobile show. There’s a large vintage swap meet. And there’s a ton of story sharing and unofficial reunions of snowmobiling friends.

It kicks off Saturday, May 24, at 3 p.m. with a social affair. It’s the 21st annual cookout. Get together with new friends and old, tour the Snowmobile Hall of Fame Museum and get ready for a weekend of fun.
The vintage snowmobile show and swap meet both get kicked off truly bright and early on Sunday morning, May 25. Official show hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
There will be professional judging in up to 26 classes, so whether you’re into the rear-engine relics, the 70s classics, cool flashbacks from the 1980s and 1990s or event snocross and other race sleds from the early 2000s, there’s something for everybody. It all wraps up with an awards program and the pulling of the raffle winner at 3 p.m. Food at the event comes from the local Bo-Boen Snowmobile Club. Plus you can wander the swap and find those unique parts you’ve been looking for.
What a wonderful way to kick off summer: By celebrating winter. No wonder people think there’s something odd about us snowmobilers!!
