For more than 30 years, the Lanaudière region has been proud of its reputation as the land of snowmobiling in Québec!

Fabulous conditions are found throughout the 1,400 miles (2 300 kilometers) of well-groomed and marked trails, thanks to the 17 snowmobile clubs who take pride in promoting their «mecca» from north to south, across plains and mountains, down long trails and snowy forest routes.

Snowmobiling is enjoyed by enthusiasts between mid-December and mid-March, but the season is usually longer in the north part of the region. The average season snowfall often surpasses 85 inches, the thermometer varies between minus 35 (Celsius) up to freezing. Sudden changes in temperature and heavy snowfalls are opportunities for great adventures!

Lanaudière’s tourism industry has spared no effort in providing quality service to the ever-growing snowmobile trade. Tasty meals, cozy rooms, snow vehicle rentals, custom packages, guide service, large parking areas and elements are all there to make your stay enjoyable. Also, the region has provided high security measures (lit parking areas, closed yards, chains, closed garages, video surveillance, security guards, etc.) to protect vehicles against theft and vandalism. Everything is designed to provide snowmobilers with the maximum service available.

Lanaudière region, the cross-roads of snowmobiling tours and outings, extends from Montréal to the snow-covered forests in Laurentian Mountains.
