Polaris Widetrak LX

Polaris’ only workhorse is the Widetrak LX It had no significant changes over the past few years, save the graphics.

There’s a sturdy rear cargo rack and a trailer hitch on the back, as well as extra underseat storage.

The track is 20 by 156 inches with 1- inch lugs. Electric start and reverse is standard and the skis are plastic. Fuel capacity is 11 gallons.

Front Suspension: IFS; Shocks/Travel: Nitrex/7.25 inches; Rear Suspension: Adjustable Coupled Rail; Shocks/Travel: Nitrex/ 9 inches; Features: The front suspension uses a trailing arm design. An adjustment mechanism on the rear suspension limits weight transfer to make sure the skis stay planted.

This 488cc liquid-cooled engine produces 65 hp. It has dual carbs and digital CDI. Unique to this machine is a hi/low transmission function to pull heavy loads.
