The Sport class is designed to offer a fun, economical snowmobile option for the entire family, and there is an option in Cat’s lineup.

The economy, fan-cooled class from Cat remains the Z-Series. There are two different engine options available; the fan-cooled 370 and 570 twins. For 2007, the 570 engine is cleaner burning, and the Zs have a good range, sipping fuel from a 12-gallon tank.

There is also an LX package that adds electric start, reverse and mirrors. All Z-Series machines are orange in 2007.

The 120 is the smallest machine in the 2007 Cat brochure and it’s aimed at youth riders. The only change for this year is the graphics. The sled comes with a 119cc fan-cooled four-stroke single. It also comes with a tether switch to cut engine power. Color choices are green or orange.

570 Gen II

Cat lists this 565cc fan-cooled engine’s output at 70 hp. It has dual 34mm Mikuni carburetors and for 2007 it’s cleaner burning. Cat calls the latest version the 570 Gen II.
