Tucker Hibbert will ride a 2009 Arctic Cat Sno Pro 600 on the International Series Of Champions (ISOC) snowmobile race circuit this season, according to a release from Arctic Cat. Hibbert will race every ISOC event leading up to the X Games, which begin January 22, 2009, the release said.
Hibbert won the X Games Snocross gold medal and the WPSA Pro Super Stock points championship last season. The gold is his seventh medal at the event since he started racing there in 2000 at age 15.
“Tucker is one of the best racers to watch. He has a way of making race fans cheer for him that aren’t necessarily Arctic Cat loyalists,” said Mike Kloety, Team Arctic Race Manager. “We expect Tucker to do very well [this season], especially with all the changes we’ve made to the Sno Pro 600.”
Arctic Cat’s support extends to the dirt, too. The company will be the title sponsor of Hibbert’s No. 87 Arctic Cat/Monster Energy-sponsored Yamaha YZ250F dirt bike at the AMA Toyota Motocross Championships in Millville, Minn., August 16-17.
