Even though it has more horsepower than any other production sled ever made, the Z1 Turbo’s four-stroke engine is a gentle giant whose power delivery is a stout “tug” rather than a harsh “yank.” People who rode the sled last winter commented that the engine is “civilized” for trail riding. It’s easy to pour on or ease out of so it doesn’t wear out the driver when he or she accelerates and slows down hundreds of times over the course of a 200-mile day. Nice.
