68. Use a 12-inch long, three-eighths-inch diameter threaded rod with a nut and large-diameter, heavy-duty washer on each end to make easy Arctic Cat ACT Drive helix changes. With a nut and washer installed on one end, pass the tool through the center of the clutch and install the other washer and nut. Tighten a nut with a wrench to compress the spring and make it easier to remove the nine bolts that fasten the helix to the sheave. Several washers might be necessary on each end so they don’t bend under pressure.
