Wanderscheid, Donahue Share Stories On Snow Goer Live

What do legendary hall of famers Bobby Donahue and PJ Wanderscheid have it common? It turns out they share a lot, even though they really didn’t know each other before joining us on Snow Goer Live on Thursday, January 17.

The two former World Champions at Eagle River (Donahue in 1988 and Wanderscheid in 2002, 2003, 2006 and 2011) both broke through at young ages and made huge impacts on the sport. However, the two also currently run family-owned powersports dealerships.

That made Episode 3 of Snow Goer Live from 2025 especially fascinating. They both had really fun stories to share from their historic careers. We also got them on screen at the same time briefly for a little back-and-forth byplay.

But Donahue also shared his thoughts on Yamaha leaving the snowmobile market, and we asked Wanderscheid about what he’s hearing with all of the turmoil at Arctic Cat these days.
