Relive Some Memories: Historic Snow Week Sale

It’s happened: The folks that more-or-less run the office for our publishing company have officially started threatening the Snowmobile group over the volume of old magazine issues and other relics we have taking up space in our storage rooms.

After we considered filing a complaint with the H.R. department over these threats (but reconsidered after remembering that the H.R. department basically is the office-running department!) we decided to add some more issues to the Snow Goer Store, and discount the heck out of them.

Specifically, we’ve placed some excellent issues from 1990-1992 on the site and discounted them by 50 percent or more over what we normally charge for historic issues… and that original price is less than half of what we see issues selling for on ebay.

Relive Jack Struthers’ historic 1-second victory in the cross-country I-500; of the western invasion at the season-opening snocross at Quadna Mountain. Flash back to Greg Goodwin’s incredible World Championship at Eagle River, or Todd Krikke’s first Soo I-500 enduro victory. Check out Snow Week’s extensive coverage of the biggest events that, to insiders, need only be identified by location — Jackson Hole, Marilla, Grantsburg, Minocqua, Wausau, etc. — and read about the exploits of now-legendary racers as they were making a name for themselves. Even the ads in issues of this era bring back awesome memories, and a true fan can get lost in the Racewire section, finding the names of then-unknown racers who maybe took a third place in the Juniors class, but later went on to become a champion.

The sale prices on these issues only runs through June 10. All issues are in like-new condition, as they came from the original printers envelop and haven’t left our greedy hands — until now. We have on average about 6 of each copy, so they might just go fast. They are available here on the second page of the Snow Goer Store website.

Editor’s Note: Every Snow Goer issue includes in-depth sled reports and comparisons, aftermarket gear and accessories reviews, riding destination articles, do-it-yourself repair information, snowmobile technology and more. Subscribe to Snow Goer now to receive print and/or digital issues.
