Shoei Safety Helmet Corp.

VFX-W Helmet

Premium helmet maker Shoei calls its VFX-W the “absolute pinnacle” of off-road helmets. Designers took safety, performance, comfort and styling into account to develop the cool, new lid.

The shell is made of fiberglass and organic fibers for a lightweight and rigid design. New forming technology is used to achieve aggressive angles while maintaining consistent shell thicknesses. The eye port is larger to accommodate big-framed goggles preferred by snowmobilers. The dual-layer liner offers better protection by offering appropriate density in key areas.

The Shoei VFX-W is DOT and Snell certified and retail pricing starts at $399.99. Sizes are XS to XXL. View the company’s website to find a dealer.

Yamaha Front Exhaust Pipes

MBRP has new front exhaust pipes for Yamaha Nytro and Apex snowmobiles. The pipes are constructed with the high-grade stainless steel and they features larger tubing than the stock pipes. A smooth transition into the 3-into-1 collector provides better exhaust flow with weight reduction. MBRP says this direct replacement header increases power while maintaining stock decibels when fed into the stock silencer. The pipe sets start at $439.99.
