D&D Power Sports, along with longtime drag racing fastman Billy Howard, entered his trail sled – a Crossfire 1200 – into the Lake Racer division.
It featured D&D’s 1200 engine kit as well as new reeds and happy gas to make a 6-second, 660-foot run.
When loaded with 92 octane fuel and put on the dyno, it made 228 hp, and D&D claims the fun-button that activates the bottle and special mapping makes an additional 50 hp.
