Team Arctic Riders Building Momentum as Championship Battles Intensify

With the racing season entering its final stretch, Team Arctic competitors are keeping the pressure on across cross-country, hillclimb and regional circuits. From Minnesota to New Hampshire and west to Idaho, Arctic Cat racers continue stacking podium finishes while remaining firmly in the hunt for multiple season titles.

On the cross-country circuit, Zach Herfindahl remains a central figure in this year’s championship picture. The veteran racer currently leads the Pro Open standings and sits second overall in Pro Factory 600 after another productive weekend at the Leech Lake 200 in Walker, Minnesota.

Herfindahl opened the laketop event with a runner-up finish in Saturday’s Pro Open contest, positioning himself well for the stretch run. A sixth-place effort on Sunday allowed him to retain valuable points as the title chase tightens. His recent surge follows a gritty second-place performance at February’s Goodridge/Grygla I-500, one of cross-country racing’s most demanding endurance events.

The Leech Lake stop also showcased the depth of Team Arctic’s lineup. Keagen Houser secured a class win in Semi Pro Improved Stock, while Rielly Clark led a dominant Arctic Cat showing in Sport Improved Stock. Clark crossed the line first, with teammate Kyle Quesenberry close behind, as Team Arctic riders claimed four of the top five finishing positions. Quesenberry also delivered a strong second-place result in the Sport Stock competition. Support-class racers Kynsie Diesen, Bryden Diesen and Eric Nymann continued adding to the brand’s trophy count.

Meanwhile, at the Adirondack XC in Pittsburg, New Hampshire, Team Arctic riders once again featured prominently in the results. Adam Levi and TJ Leach earned second- and third-place finishes in Pro Factory 600, while Ken Murphy and Levi mirrored that outcome in Pro Open. Thomas Levi and Michael Young captured second and third in Semi Pro Factory 600, and Jason Whitaker added a Masters-class victory along with a podium in Trail Novice.

In the western mountains, the Rocky Mountain Snowmobile Hillclimb Association opened its season in Idaho, where Kyle Tapio recorded two Masters-class podium finishes to give Arctic Cat representation on the box in hillclimb competition as well.

“Our racers are putting in the work every single weekend,” said Mike Kloety, Team Arctic Race Manager. “Whether it’s cross-country or hillclimb, you’re seeing consistency, preparation and a real commitment to improving every round. That’s what keeps us in contention year after year.”

The schedule remains busy in the weeks ahead. Team Arctic competitors will return to action at the ERX Snocross National on March 6–7 in Elk River, Minnesota. Select 2027 Arctic Cat models will also be on display during the event. Additional 2027 sleds will appear at SnoFest in Old Forge, New York, that same weekend.

As the championship battles intensify, Team Arctic racers continue pushing forward—focused not just on podiums, but on finishing the season strong.
