Snocross Season Opens: Here's the schedule

It’s two weeks late, but the first national snocross race is now hours from starting – the Amsoil Duluth National at the Spirit Mountain Resort in Duluth, Minnesota. In the past two weeks, racers have been honing their skills, tuning their machines and anxiously awaiting the chance to showcase their skills and go head-to-head with their competition.
Racing starts at noon on Friday, December 11, when the Sport Super Sport 1 class takes to the track after a morning filled with practice. Five classes (Sport Super Stock 1, Junior 14-15, Sport Women, Junior 16-17 and Semi-Pro Open) run all the way to the finals on Friday night, and there’s even a freestyle show – so fans in the area won’t want to miss out on the action.
Racing resumes Saturday morning at 9:30, and the pros will be competing for the first time in the afternoon. Round 1 of Pro Stock qualifying is scheduled for 3 p.m., with round 2 at 4:30, the last-chance qualifier at 6 and the big Pro Stock final at 7:30. Other big finals on Saturday include Pro Plus 30, Pro Women, Semi-Pro Stock 1, Sport Super Stock 2, Junior Novice 10-14 and Transition 8-12.
Sunday’s racing starts at 10 a.m. and is capped off by the prestigious Pro Open final at 3 p.m. It is preceded by a ton of qualifying races, and the Semi-Pro Stock 2 final at 2:30 p.m. and the entertaining 120 Champ 7-14 final at 1:30.
The race is the season-opener for the International Series of Champions (ISOC) Amsoil Championship Snocross Series. The series moves to the Milwaukee Mile on December 18-19 for round two.
