We learned at Haydays recently about a change in ownership of Idaho-based handlebar accessory manufacturer Race Shop Industries — perhaps best known as RSI. Below is a press release from the new owners. The previous owner was Wade Durbin. The new owners are Jason and Duane Houle of Straightline Performance and David Fischer, a noted marketer and son of Motorsports Plus owner Jeff Fischer.
Race Shop Industries Changes Hands at Top
(Forest Lake, Minn.) September 13, 2016 – Race Shop Industries (RSI) has come under new ownership as of September 1, 2016. David Fischer, Jason Houle and Duane Houle independently purchased the company best known for handlebars and handle bar accessories. The company also has a full line-up of snowmobile customization accessories for all makes and models.
Business will continue as usual, with a stronger focus on improved customer service, faster delivery of orders, and new products and advancements at the forefront of company operations.
“We have had nothing but positive conversations with current and previous customers that are overwhelming excited to see what RSI has in store for the future,” said Jason Houle and David Fischer.
