Fall Snow Show Season In Full Swing: Milwaukee And Edmonton This Weekend

Sledheads of all ages will find everything they need for the season at pre-winter snow shows – pictured is the Rocky Mountain Snowmobile Show in Denver.

Some folks consider Haydays the unofficial kickoff to winter, but the countdown to snowfall really gets going in earnest with the start of the big indoor snowmobile shows and expos across the North American snowbelt.

The season officially kicked off Sept. 28-30, with the biggest indoor show in the Northeast – the Big East Powersports Show in Syracuse, New York. (Full disclosure: The Big East and Rocky Mountain Snowmobile Expo events are produced by EPG Media and Snow Goer magazine.)

At the big fall shows, you can expect to get great deals on clothing and accessories, see the new snowmobiles, check out trailers and performance parts, find new places to ride, meet with industry insiders, hang out with other riders and much, much more.

At the Big East and Rocky Mountain shows, for instance, there will be educations seminar, including an appearance from Chris Riley of Super Sled Online fame at Big East, and riding clinic seminars led by backcountry riding heroes like Dan Adams, Chris Burandt, Matt Entz, Kim Onasch and Bret Rasmussen in Denver.

In Syracuse, Polaris and its Indy Evo snowmobile has sponsored youth tickets, meaning all kids 12 and under get in free. Click here for discount online ticketing. The goal is to continue to make the show and the sport more open to family and kids, and that is also reflected in the Family Fun Zone at the Big East Snowmobile Show.

Attendees find information on new riding destinations and much more at many snow shows.

Here’s the full rundown of the major fall events. Please note, there are also other state, provincial and regional shows throughout the Snowbelt that may also be worth attending – the ones listed below are consider “the majors” where you can expect to see local and national vendors, big displays from the snowmobile manufacturers and more.
