Bombardier Appoints Boisjoli As President Of Rec Division

Former president Michel Baril quit to pursue other interests, according to a Bombardier press release. Baril was named the president of Bombardier Recreational Products in February 2001.
Since joining Bombardier in 1989, Boisjoli has worked in several areas. In 1998, Boisjoli was named president of snowmobiles, watercraft and ATVs at Bombardier.
“His numerous years of experience and his knowledge of the business make him the ideal candidate for ensuring a harmonious transition,” said Bombardier President and CEO Paul M. Tellier.
Earlier this year, Bombardier came to an agreement to sell the Recreational Products Division to the Bombardier family and other investors.
