The Oncenter in Syracuse, New York, is rapidly being converted into a huge snowmobile showroom, dealership, clothing outlet and education center, as it transforms into the 22nd annual Big East Powersports Show.
The three-day indoor show, held this weekend — Oct. 2-4 — features more than 100 exhibitors including big factory displays from Arctic Cat, Polaris, Ski-Doo and Yamaha. Hosted at the Oncenter and presented by Snow Goer magazine, the event allows attendees to see, try-on and buy the latest snowmobile gear from the nation’s leading vendors and aftermarket retailers. Snowmobile enthusiasts can find new places to ride, discover new performance add-ons that can make their snowmobiles run better, shop for trailers or accessories and enter to win snowmobiles that will be given away at the show.
From the experienced rider to the novice outdoor explorer, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
New to the show this year is the Snow Goer Clinic – a series of informative educational seminars on Saturday, October 3, where industry insiders share secrets to improve the ride quality, traction and performance of attendees’ snowmobiles.
Plus, Saturday evening kicks off the Diva’s SnowGear Ladies Night with drink specials and a seminar focused on female riders.
Tickets for this year’s show are $8 for adults if purchased in advance, $10 for adults at the door, $4 for children between the ages of 6 and 12, and free for children ages 5 and under.
