For immediate release: Divas SnowGear Partners with Miss I-500 Pageant
Divas SnowGear (DSG) is excited to announce its partnership with the Miss I-500 Pageant. The 4th Annual Miss I-500 Pageant will take place on February 6th, 2015 at the I-500 track in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. DSG will be providing outerwear for Miss I-500 along with the Miss I-500 princesses.
Candidates for the Miss I-500 Pageant are age 16-21 and must submit an essay, resume, and letter of recommendation prior to competition. They are interviewed by a panel of judges and answer a final question while on stage. Miss I-500 is selected based on knowledge, poise, and serves as a host of the International 500.
The Miss I-500 Pageant is a community fundraising event for Pink Ribbon Riders. Contestants of the Miss I-500 Pageant compete for an Audience Choice Award, where the audience votes by putting money in a contestant’s designated container. 100% of the proceeds from the Audience Choice vote goes directly to the Pink Ribbon Rider cause. During the pageant “Ms. Courageous” will also be crowned, which is an annual tradition of celebrating the courage and strength of a local breast cancer warrior.
