Speedwerx werked hard this summer to come up with a pipe to fit Arctic Cat’s new big-bore powerplants. Its work should pay off for owners of new 800 and 1000cc F-Series, Crossfire and M-Series sleds. The new Fat Daddy Single Pipe retails from $399 to $429.
Figures about weight savings and horsepower increase weren’t nailed down when this issue went to print (the company was still finalizing the product) but Speedwerx General Manager Jason Houle expects a 5- to 6-pound weight reduction compared to stock.
The ceramic-coated pipe will fit the stock silencer and sound level will be same as stock, Houle said. For best performance, clutching changes are recommended.
