PREVIEW: Rocky Mountain Snowmobile Expo In Denver, Oct. 12-13

Hey Rocky Mountain snowmobilers: Many of you got snow within 200 or so miles last weekend, but are you truly ready for the upcoming snowmobile season? Or are you looking for an excuse to get together with fellow snowmobiles and make plans for the white winter ahead?

Either way, this coming weekend’s Progressive Rocky Mountain Snowmobile Expo in Denver, Colorado, is coming to fill the need, Oct. 12-13 at the National Western Complex. The event, presented by Snow Goer magazine in cooperation with the Colorado Snowmobile Association, will feature all things snowmobiling, with vendors big and small showcasing a variety of products and services of interest to sledheads.

Want to get a look at the new sleds? The Expo is a perfect place. Need to get some new riding gear? Don’t miss out on the can’t-miss pricing of the West’s first big show of the season. Looking for performance parts to modify your sled? All of your best options will be on display. Interested in finding a new place to ride? Yes, the Rocky Mountain Snowmobile Expo is a great place for that as well, with many different resorts and tourist destinations there to educate riders about their areas.

From trailers to turbos, lightweight components to ways to get your sled unstuck, aftermarket shocks absorbers to whole suspension systems, there will be 79 vendors booths in total in the new, larger location for the show. Better food, free parking and a more festive atmosphere are all on tap.

But wait, there’s more. The Colorado Snowmobile Assocation is hosting a large swap meet at the Expo on Saturday, featuring consumer-to-consumer sales of used sleds, gear and accessories.

Plus, informative seminars will feature famous speakers both days, sharing riding tips, educating on avalanche awareness, describing funding programs and helping riders get the most out of their gear. Seminar leaders include Mike Duffy, Chris Burandt, Amber Holt, Matt Entz, Bret Rasmussen and more.

All of this creates a larger, more encompassing and entertaining Rocky Mountain Expo, held at a new location this year, the National Western Complex. For discount tickets and coupons, click here.
