Tucker Hibbert Dominates Snow King Mountain

Snowmobile and motorsports enthusiasts alike came out in large numbers to enjoy the beautiful weather and to see the greatest show on the snow in legendary Jackson, Wyoming.

With Round 3 at the Jackson Hole Snocross National Presented by Country Cat in the books, the fans and racers set their eyes on what was bound to be another epic day of racing at Snow King Mountain. The inaugural snocross event in Jackson, Wyoming, saw some of the best racing of anywhere in the United States. In Round 3, Tucker Hibbert was able to extend his win streak to three while Jacob Yurk achieved a milestone by earning his first Pro Lite victory.  Round 4 here in the cowboy state did not disappoint.

Pro Class, Qualifying

The first Round for the Pro class showcased the true talent of Johan Lidman. Lidman led most of the final in Round 3 but fell short of a podium position. Johan didn’t let that happen in heat one. He led the entire race even following a red flag. Tim Tremblay was involved in an accident on the uphill bringing out the red flag. Lincoln Lemieux was able to make it through the carnage to earn a second place while Adam Renheim finished third. The second heat race of the Pro class was one of the best of the season. It was a three-way battle between Logan Christian, Kody Kamm and Tucker Hibbert. Christian would battle his way to a heat race win after going bar-to-bar for many laps with the other two past Champions. Hibbert charged hard late to pass the reigning Champion and finish the heat race in second. Kamm finished his  third.

In Round 2 of the Pro class, Christian was able to pull another early lead up the hill and run away with the victory over reigning champion Kamm. Kamm started the race in fourth and was able to push forward and tie down second place. Lincoln Lemieux piloted his Amsoil Ski-Doo to a third. In the final heat race, Kristoffer Holm pulled the early lead but was passed by Hibbert and Brett Nastala on the second lap. The two Arctic Cat riders ran away with the top two positions. Adam Renheim finished his qualifying rounds strong with a third.

Pro Class Final

The biggest race of the weekend, the Pro Final. The 14 racers on the starting were all looking to take down the No. 68 of Tucker Hibbert. The light went green and the first machine up the hill was the Arctic Cat of Johan Lidman. Lidman was challenged early on the uphill by the 10-time champion Hibbert. Hibbert was able to get around the No. 52 of Lidman and start gaping the rest of the field. Kody Kamm and Logan Christian were able to also get past Lidman and put themselves into a podium position.

Petter Narsa pulled off a remarkable holeshot from the back row and found himself in the sixth position. At the halfway point of the race Kyle Pallin was making a charge on the sixth place rider of Narsa and had on off in the Arctic Cat corner, pushing him down to eighth. As the race went on, the top three riders started to spread apart from the rest of the field. Kyle Pallin rebounded and found himself once again battling with the Narsa. Pallin would end up passing the fellow Polaris rider and solidify the fourth.

As the checkered flag flew Hibbert earned his fourth straight victory while Kamm finished second and Christian in third. Lemieux got tangled on the start, causing him to start the race in 15th. He battled his way to 7th earning him the Fox Great Ride award.
